My Story
Michael J O'Neill
I have been actively engaged in the business world since October 2003. From the age of 15, I gained extensive experience working as a roofing, siding, and framing contractor. At 21, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey in the same field. Throughout my early years, I honed my craft and expanded my horizons by subcontracting for prominent local production builders such as Ryan Homes and Dan Ryan Builders. I quickly scaled my operations to employ 12 dedicated individuals, working across multiple communities with four crews.

For a decade, I managed these crews hands-on, later transitioning to a leadership role with a focus on strategic oversight. This led to a Project Manager position, overseeing community development projects from land development to construction, and interacting with homebuyers to ensure satisfaction. I contributed to the success of four major developments and over 500 homes.
​
As I transitioned between builders, I diversified my portfolio with numerous renovation, rehab, and addition projects, broadening my company's services in construction and real estate. I shifted my focus to real estate investing, successfully completing over 250 flips and owning 22 properties to date. My business now includes commercial buildouts, retail spaces, and restaurants.
Overall, my 28-year career includes 22 years of self-employment, excelling in production management, delegation, and people skills. I've been involved in site development, new construction, and extensive renovation work, always striving for excellence and ongoing success.

A few years ago, I discovered a beautiful abandoned golf course that has since become my primary focus. I've spent the last few years perfecting my plans to create the ideal community. My passion for the outdoors and countryside has always been balanced with a desire for community, which inspired this vision. This plan blends the immersive experience of nature with the warmth of neighborhood camaraderie, featuring amenities such as a restaurant and nature trails to encourage social interaction.
